Yvonne Stimac

Yvonne shares her passion by giving back to the community. For nearly fifteen years, Yvonne spent time volunteering as a Guardian for the Seminole County Guardian ad Litem program, to advocate for the best interests of children who are alleged to be abused, neglected, or abandoned, and who are involved in court proceedings. She served on Florida Local Advocacy Board appointed by Gov. Jeb Bush.

As Vice President, Yvonne represents Friends on CAPTF (Child Abuse Prevention Task Force). She has established partnerships with other community organizations to provide resources for the needs of abused and neglected children. For several years Yvonne has chaired the Light of Hope Event which brings awareness of child abuse and prevention to the community. Yvonne has created a streamlined, efficient process for soliciting, collecting and sorting gifts for over 350 children in our Secret Santa Project. Her contact in the business community has increased our donor base and sponsorships for events and projects. Her focus is on how a community can work together to serve the needs of children.

Yvonne is owner and Vice-President of Metal Essence, Inc. a manufacturing machine shop in Longwood, FL.
